AltoBeam has officially introduced the ATBM6175, marking the first domestic Wi-Fi 7 data transmission chip in China. The company emphasizes that all core technologies for this new wireless communication SoC were developed in-house, representing a significant milestone for local semiconductor design.

The ATBM6175 chip features a highly integrated architecture that supports a maximum channel bandwidth of 80MHz and 4096-QAM modulation. These technical specifications allow the chip to reach a physical layer peak rate of 720Mbps. The design also incorporates Multi-Link Operation (MLO) technology to enhance performance.

Engineers optimized the radio frequency front-end and baseband architecture to improve receiver sensitivity and transmission power. The system is designed to reduce overall power consumption and peripheral complexity, assisting manufacturers in integrating Wi-Fi 7 capabilities within limited hardware spaces and budget constraints.

To address common interference issues in wireless systems, AltoBeam redesigned the coexistence architecture between Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth. This optimization ensures high-precision coordination, preventing data transmission lag or conflicts when the device manages intensive interactions with multiple wireless peripherals simultaneously.
