The Alice AI chatbot has introduced a new 'For Study' module designed to assist students with mathematics and English. The tool focuses on helping users understand problem-solving processes rather than providing direct answers. It covers the middle and high school curriculum for grades 5 through 11.

For mathematics, the service includes a training simulator aligned with the Federal Institute for Pedagogical Measurements (FIPI) standards, supporting preparation for both basic and profile-level Unified State Exams (EGE). Students can submit tasks via text or photo, and the AI provides guidance through dialogue and examples.

The English language section, developed by the Yandex Translate team, assists with vocabulary, homework, and written exam preparation. While currently available to a limited number of users, the company plans to expand access. The module was created by the Yandex Education team.

Yandex reports that students who used their platform for computer science exam preparation last year achieved an average score of 68.7 points. This result is 10 points higher than the national average, according to company data. Users can access the new features via the web or mobile app.
