Alibaba unveiled its new Qwen AI hardware line at the 2026 Yunqi Conference in Hangzhou. The product range includes the Qwen AI Glasses N1 and N1 Pro, alongside a new clip-on AI earphone model. All devices are currently available for online pre-order, with retail sales scheduled to begin on October 13.
The N1 series glasses feature a 50 megapixel sensor designed for first-person perspective recording. The premium N1 Pro model introduces advanced capabilities, specifically eye-tracking technology and iris-based payment authentication. The eye-tracking feature allows the AI to identify objects the user is looking at when they ask questions.
The new clip-on AI earphones integrate Bose audio tuning with the company's AI assistant software. The device supports real-time face-to-face translation, AI-powered transcription, and voice-activated task management. These wearables are positioned as key components of Alibaba's Personal Agent ecosystem.
General Manager of Qwen AI Hardware, Song Gang, stated that these wearables act as a primary interface for the company's AI agents. By utilizing first-person visual data and voice interaction, the devices aim to provide proactive services based on the user's immediate context and environment.
