Alibaba is preparing to launch its updated personal AI assistant, Qianwen Go. The tool is designed to function as an agent that performs specific tasks on behalf of users, moving beyond simple conversational interactions.
The new version of the assistant expands its operational scope. It can independently query authorized platforms, compare service options, and make phone calls to service providers to complete assigned objectives.
Key capabilities of the updated assistant include managing flight delay compensation claims, scheduling vehicle maintenance, booking sports activities, and performing price comparisons for shopping.
Since its initial launch last year, the Qianwen platform has integrated with Alibaba's ecosystem to provide services such as online shopping, ride-hailing, courier tracking, and financial management.
