Alibaba has launched its Qoder AI programming agent on the HarmonyOS PC application market. This release marks the first AI-powered development workbench specifically designed for the HarmonyOS PC ecosystem.
The development team collaborated with the HarmonyOS engineers to ensure that the full task lifecycle, including intent understanding, step decomposition, tool invocation, and final delivery, functions seamlessly within the operating system.
Developers can utilize natural language to trigger automated code writing, refactoring, troubleshooting, and testing. The platform features deep codebase awareness, allowing it to operate within real project environments while coordinating multiple agent roles like frontend, backend, and QA.
Beyond programming, the tool includes a general mode for non-technical users. This allows individuals to perform tasks such as document processing, presentation creation, data analysis, and research without needing to interact directly with code.
