Alfa-Siltech and the Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center (ZNTC) have secured a patent for a UHF radio frequency tag featuring a high-sealing protective casing. The patent for this utility model is valid for 10 years.
The tag's design includes a specialized element that secures the electronic component within the housing. The casing material allows the device to operate at temperatures up to 250 degrees Celsius and pressures reaching 600 atmospheres.
The technology is designed for use in harsh environments, including exposure to aggressive chemical substances. The developers confirmed that the tag maintains stable readability under these extreme conditions.
The partnership between the two companies is governed by a cooperation agreement signed in March 2026, which outlines the joint ownership of intellectual property. The first batch of tags has already been delivered to a client for testing.
