The DeFi protocol Alchemix, known for its self-repaying loan model, has published a B2 Token Transparency Filing via Blockworks. The document, completed on October 14, 2026, provides a detailed overview of the project's governance, tokenomics, and financial performance.
The protocol operates without a traditional corporate structure, relying on the Alchemix DAO and a multisig wallet for decision-making. A Swiss nonprofit entity, the Alchemix Association, exists but holds no authority over protocol upgrades or transaction execution.
The ALCX token, launched in March 2021 with an initial pre-mine of 478,612 tokens, follows a weekly emission schedule of 2,200 tokens since March 2024. The project is governed by the DAO under a Business Source License.
In the second quarter of 2026, Alchemix reported revenue of approximately $329,000, marking a 34% increase from the previous quarter. Stablecoin deposits on the mainnet grew by 73%, reaching $7.41 million.
The v3 update, which completed migration across three chains in April 2026, introduced Mix-Yield Tokens (MYT) and allows users to borrow up to 90% of their collateral value. The system also features diversified yield strategies and the Transmuter for fixed-duration redemptions.
