AI SPERA is set to showcase its new AITEM (AI-Powered Threat Exposure Management) platform at the GovWare 2026 conference in Singapore. This solution marks a strategic shift from traditional Attack Surface Management (ASM), which focuses primarily on asset discovery, toward a model centered on active threat response and prioritization.
The AITEM platform integrates diverse data sources, including external asset inventories, open-source intelligence, dark web data, internal infrastructure, and Shadow AI. By leveraging Criminal IP threat intelligence, the system aims to filter noise and provide context for vulnerabilities, such as open ports, abuse history, and malicious infrastructure.
CEO Byungtak Kang will present a case study titled 'From Visibility to Threat Hunting' during the event. The presentation will address the industry-wide transition toward AI-driven security operations, emphasizing that modern defense requires speed and the ability to act on risks rather than merely identifying exposed assets.
The introduction of AITEM aligns with broader industry trends observed at RSAC 2026, where agentic AI and AI-powered security operations centers became key themes. The company intends for its AI tools to handle repetitive analytical tasks, allowing human security teams to focus on high-level judgment and risk prioritization.
