Nakamoto Holdings CEO David Bailey stated that artificial intelligence could serve as a primary catalyst for Bitcoin adoption. During a discussion hosted by investment bank TD Cowen, Bailey argued that AI tools can simplify complex processes like wallet management, private keys, and addresses, which have historically hindered mainstream usage.
TD Cowen analyst Lance Vitanza noted that this perspective shifts the focus of adoption beyond traditional factors like monetary policy and regulation. Bailey emphasized that institutional interest, including spot ETFs and corporate treasury programs, has significantly expanded access to Bitcoin over the past year, surpassing the progress of the previous decade.
Bailey asserted that Bitcoin is reshaping traditional finance, as institutions and governments adapt to the asset's fixed rules rather than the other way around. He suggested that for businesses, the key metric is the ability to increase Bitcoin holdings per share, regardless of the company's size or classification as a treasury or operating entity.
Nakamoto Holdings, which operates across media, conferences, education, and asset management, is pursuing an integrated strategy. TD Cowen currently maintains a Buy rating on Nakamoto Holdings, which trades under the ticker NAKA on the NASDAQ exchange. The firm also discloses that it makes a market in the company's stock.
