Agropromtsifra and MGIMO have launched a beta version of the Atlas of World Agricultural Markets digital platform. The system aggregates data on international trade, production, consumption, pricing, and industry trends to support exporters, agribusinesses, and financial institutions.
The platform currently features data from three editions of the World Agricultural Markets yearbook. Key tools include an interactive world map, country and sector profiles, market comparison metrics, price monitoring, and a news feed for significant industry events.
Future development focuses on integrating artificial intelligence to process large datasets from Russian and international sources. These AI tools aim to identify market signals, assess risks, and forecast potential development scenarios for the agricultural sector.
The project is being developed as a modular system tailored to the needs of various users, including banks and research centers. It combines digital analytics with expert verification provided by MGIMO and industry specialists to ensure data accuracy.
The initiative is part of the Priority 2030 program, operating under the university's Inter-university Center of Competencies for the Institute of World Agricultural Markets.
