SRE engineer Stepan Martyanov has developed AgonArena, a platform designed to simulate complex negotiations using AI. The tool is available as a Telegram bot and an iOS application currently in open beta testing.
The platform features a structured duel format consisting of two three-minute rounds where users switch roles with the AI. Users can select the level of difficulty for the AI opponent, ranging from easy to hard, to simulate realistic resistance during negotiations.
AgonArena utilizes three distinct AI judges to evaluate performance based on economic, social, and professional criteria, providing scores from 1 to 5. The system includes nine categories of scenarios, such as workplace conflicts and personal finance, and offers a five-lesson training program.
The technical infrastructure employs a multi-model cascade system to ensure service continuity and uses state machines to manage duel logic and prevent errors. The developer emphasizes that the tool is designed to provide a safe environment for practicing under pressure rather than predicting real-world outcomes.
