Robot manufacturer Agibot, in partnership with Anhui Telecom and Huawei, has launched the first 5G-A dedicated service plan for embodied AI, branded as Ju Shen Yi Lian. The initiative aims to address the specific connectivity requirements of robots, including high uplink bandwidth, low latency, and multi-device concurrency.
The service plan offers two tiers: a standard version priced at ¥599, providing a 300Mbps peak uplink and 200GB of high-speed data, and an enhanced version at ¥999, featuring a 500Mbps peak uplink, 500GB of data, and dynamic slicing. These packages are designed to support large-scale deployment of embodied AI by eliminating network bottlenecks.
The companies also deployed the industry's first 5G-A embodied humanoid robot campus inspection project. Multiple Kuafu robots are currently patrolling eight main routes within a demonstration zone, utilizing the 5G-A network to transmit high-value operational data in real-time to the Agibot data platform.
The collected data undergoes cleaning and labeling before being used to iterate and improve the robot models. This process establishes a closed-loop system that integrates field inspection, real-world data collection, and model training, leveraging the reliability and low latency of the 5G-A network infrastructure.
