Aeroflot has installed eight self-service kiosks in Terminal C of Sheremetyevo Airport for international departures. Passengers flying with Aeroflot and Rossiya Airlines can use these stations to check in and print boarding passes. Travelers without luggage can complete the entire process independently, while those with baggage can print tags and drop off items at designated counters.
The new kiosks feature large touchscreens and were developed by a Russian manufacturer. This expansion follows the deployment of similar technology for domestic flights in Terminal B, where 18 kiosks are currently operational. Since the launch of the domestic service in December 2025, approximately 19.5% of passengers, or about 7,000 people daily, have utilized the self-service option.
The airline expects the adoption rate for self-service registration to reach 30% by the first quarter of 2027. This initiative aims to streamline pre-flight procedures for international travelers by reducing the need for traditional check-in desks.
