Sberbank and Aeroflot have deployed the NEO payment terminal at the airline's flagship sales office. This device, developed by Sberbank, integrates artificial intelligence, biometric authentication, and local computing capabilities into a single unit.
The terminals are currently operational across all 22 customer service windows, allowing passengers to pay for tickets and additional services. The hardware features a screen that automatically adjusts its tilt angle and a biometric system designed to recognize faces under varying lighting conditions.
Technical specifications include a ToF camera for 3D facial mapping, a wide-angle lens, and adaptive lighting. The device is powered by an eight-core processor and a dedicated NPU chip for on-device AI tasks, with a screen resolution 60% higher than previous models.
Users can complete transactions using bank cards, facial recognition, SberPay NFC contactless payments, or a unified QR code system.
