Aerodisk, a subsidiary of Aquarius Group, has officially registered its Engine AQ 470 storage system in the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade registry. This status allows clients to deploy the equipment in projects requiring verified domestic origin, fulfilling mandatory procurement standards for Russian-made hardware.
The Engine AQ 470 is designed for high-load enterprise environments, including ERP systems, databases, and virtualization. It features an end-to-end NVMe architecture with support for NVMe-oF (TCP), accommodating up to 96 NVMe drives. Connectivity options include Ethernet speeds up to 100 Gbit/s and 32G Fibre Channel.
The system utilizes an Active-Active dual-controller design, supporting replication and metro-cluster configurations for high availability and disaster recovery. This registration marks a step in Aerodisk's localization strategy, with new product lines currently in development for a 2027 market launch to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
