Adobe is updating the interaction model for AI tools in Premiere, introducing the Generative Media tool. This feature allows editors to create video, sound effects, music, and soundscapes directly within the project timeline, eliminating the need to switch between external applications or browsers.

The tool supports integration with several AI models, including Adobe Firefly, Google Veo, Runway, Luma, and Kling. Users can select the specific model that best fits the project's style directly from the timeline interface.

New beta audio tools in Premiere are being introduced to handle complex sound editing. These capabilities include the ability to separate overlapping speakers, automatically adjust music volume during speech, and independently control dialogue and ambience.

Adobe is also expanding its AI Assistant to After Effects in beta. This assistant allows editors to use natural language commands to reorganize projects, resolve technical issues, and generate effects without the need to write manual expressions.
