Adobe has updated its video editing suite, focusing on integrating generative AI directly into the Premiere Pro timeline. Editors can now select specific segments on audio or video tracks to generate content without leaving the workspace. The system automatically detects project settings, such as aspect ratios and reference materials, to match generation parameters without manual input.

The platform now supports multiple AI models, including Adobe Firefly, Google Veo, Kling, Runway, and Luma. These tools are unified within the interface, allowing creators to fill gaps, extend footage, or generate sound effects. Adobe aims to shift the focus from prompting to standard editing tasks, treating AI as a background utility rather than a standalone feature.

After Effects also received an update featuring natural language processing. Users can now reorganize project structures or execute complex tasks by describing their needs in plain language, eliminating the requirement to master specific scripting syntaxes or menu paths. This transition reflects Adobe's strategy to automate repetitive tasks while keeping the creative process under user control.
