Andreessen Horowitz partner Olivia Moore released a report analyzing the top 100 consumer AI applications. While ChatGPT remains the market leader, the list highlights the staying power of smaller companies such as Suno and ElevenLabs.

The report notes that only 2.2% of U.S. households currently pay for AI services. Moore suggests that the industry must move beyond reliance on subscription fees and API token charges to achieve sustainable growth.

A significant shift is occurring in how AI companies scale. Startups like Gamma, ElevenLabs, and Cursor often transition from consumer-focused products to majority-enterprise businesses within 18 months of operation.

The current consumer AI market is dominated by prosumer tools in product building, marketing, and work management. Categories such as social, dating, travel, and finance remain largely untapped by AI entrants.
