Zunjie Auto has issued an official statement addressing concerns regarding the brake pedal bracket base. The company emphasized that its braking system was developed and verified according to standards exceeding national requirements, specifically GB 21670-2025, GB 7258-2026, and industry standard QC/T 788-2018.
The manufacturer reported that no instances of brake pedal bracket base fractures have occurred in real-world usage since the first vehicles were delivered to customers. Despite this, the company plans to optimize the component design to provide additional safety redundancy, even for non-standard extreme testing conditions.
Existing owners will be offered a free upgrade for the brake pedal bracket base. Furthermore, Zunjie Auto is conducting a comprehensive review of its design verification processes, testing boundaries, and production quality management systems to further strengthen its overall vehicle safety protocols.
