Zamanat has launched the Zamanat Fund CEIC Limited, a tokenized private credit fund domiciled in the DIFC. The fund aims to raise up to $100 million to address the estimated $250 billion financing gap for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the GCC region, where only 11 percent of such businesses currently access credit.

The fund is structured as a DFSA-regulated closed-ended exempt credit fund. It will issue interests as ZM1 Investment Tokens on the ZIGChain blockchain, providing a regulated environment for professional clients. Truleum Venture Partners Limited serves as the fund manager, while Apex Group acts as the fund administrator.

Zamanat, which is backed by the venture builder Disrupt.com, focuses on building a market for digital Shariah-aligned assets. The company plans to expand its pipeline to include private credit, receivables, and real estate. The current fund serves as a proof point for regulated fund tokenization and institutional-scale digital asset distribution.
