The Zabaikalskaya Suburban Passenger Company has implemented a scalable data storage system powered by Raidix 5 software. The project aims to establish a reliable repository for operational data and ensure high-speed access to archived files. The system allows for centralized resource management as data volumes increase, maintaining a balance between reliability and performance.

The storage solution supports ten RAID levels and offers flexible configuration and scalability. It provides access via file and block protocols, including Fibre Channel, which facilitates high-speed data retrieval for arrays ranging from tens to hundreds of terabytes. The implementation was carried out by the system integrator Snow Leopard.

Alexey Kazakov, head of the presale group at Raidix, noted that the stability of IT infrastructure is critical for the efficiency of railway passenger transport. He added that the deployment of the Raidix 5-based system is intended to ensure operational continuity and serve as a foundation for the company's sovereign technology stack.
