Yuga Labs has introduced Mudwater, a trading card game featuring physical and digital Bored Ape assets on the Solana blockchain. While the original Bored Ape Yacht Club collection remains on Ethereum, this new project utilizes the Solana network to expand the brand's reach.

The distribution model grants priority access to existing NFT holders. Owners of Bored Ape Yacht Club tokens can claim 10 packs each, while Mutant Ape Yacht Club holders receive two. The total supply is capped at 10,000 boxes, which contain a combined total of 240,000 packs and 2.4 million cards.

To facilitate the claim process, Yuga Labs airdropped a Totem to all eligible NFT holders. These Totems leverage the ERC-6551 standard, which provides each NFT with its own dedicated wallet. Holders must use these tokens to claim their respective card packs.

The collection includes 120 distinct Bored Ape art pieces, featuring various foils and serialized 1/1 cracked-ice cards described as the set's grails. Trading for these assets has already commenced on platforms like OpenSea, with future plans to allow users to upgrade packs into larger boxes and cases.
