Young entrepreneurs under 35 are increasingly focusing on IT, science, sports, and education. According to the SME Corporation, 10.3% of individual entrepreneurs in this age group are involved in scientific and technical activities, which is one-third higher than among those over 35.

The IT and communications sector attracts nearly 7.5% of young entrepreneurs, more than double the 3.6% share seen in older age groups. Similarly, the younger generation chooses culture, sports, and education as business paths twice as often as millennials.

The number of entrepreneurs under 25 has grown by approximately 25% over the past year and has nearly doubled over the last five years. While the share of businesses in IT, science, and professional services among those over 35 is about 20%, it reaches 25% for youth and exceeds 30% for those under 25.

To support new business owners, the SME Corporation and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives have launched a service called Start in Business on the MSP.RF digital platform. The tool provides resources for market entry, niche selection, and access to state support measures.
