YooMoney has expanded its partnership with the Samokat delivery service to include Yekaterinburg. This city is now the fifth location in Russia, following Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar, and Perm, where customers can receive physical Mir payment cards via express delivery.
The service allows users to order a black Mir card through the YooMoney website or mobile application. Delivery times start from 15 minutes, provided the address is within the service area. The total cost for the card, including issuance, delivery, and maintenance, is 699 ₽.
According to YooMoney, nearly one-third of all card courier shipments are currently handled through the Samokat express channel. The company expects this figure to rise as the service becomes available in more regions, meeting the growing consumer demand for real-time financial solutions.
The card supports both online and offline payments. Users can earn cashback in the form of YooMoney points, capped at 3,000 points per month, as well as ruble-denominated cashback through the National Payment Card System (NSPK) loyalty program.
