The Yeelight M4 Full Spectrum Smart Human Presence Panel Light has launched on the Xiaomi Youpin platform. The devices feature a built-in 24 GHz radar sensor and two light sensors to detect human presence, allowing for automatic lighting control based on movement detection.
The product line includes two versions. The smaller 30 by 30 cm model offers 24 W of power and is designed for rooms between 8 and 12 square meters, priced at $16. The larger 30 by 60 cm model provides 36 W for spaces of 12 to 18 square meters, costing $22.
The radar system operates at a height of 2.5 meters with a detection range of up to 10 meters. AI algorithms are integrated to minimize false triggers. The panels feature full-spectrum light sources with a color rendering index of Ra98 and a luminous flux reaching 2500 lm.
Users can adjust the color temperature from 2700 K to 6000 K to simulate natural daylight cycles. The devices support Bluetooth Mesh 2.0 for smart home integration. The hardware is built with a 2 mm frame thickness and carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
