Yandex has updated Alice AI with an automated routing system that selects the most appropriate AI model for a user's specific request. This technology eliminates the need for manual configuration, as the system analyzes the query to determine the required computational resources.
The platform utilizes a proprietary agent architecture, or harness, to manage the workflow. This layer allows the model to plan actions, maintain context, and execute multi-step tasks, including file processing, information retrieval, and integration with various services.
The new Expert mode is designed for complex tasks involving multiple conditions, such as financial planning, legal research, or travel arrangements. It can calculate budgets, compare travel dates, and analyze multiple uploaded documents simultaneously.
Users can currently access Expert mode without restrictions. While the feature is available to all users now, Yandex plans to transition it into the Alice Plus subscription service in the future.
