Yandex has released a standalone desktop application called Documents, which functions as an offline editor for text files and spreadsheets. The software is part of the Yandex 360 ecosystem and allows users to work on documents without an active internet connection.

The application is available for Windows 10 and 11, macOS 15 and newer, as well as Linux distributions including Astra Linux, Alt SP, and Red OS. Installation files range from 234 MB to 375 MB depending on the operating system and package format.

The software supports Microsoft Office formats, specifically docx and xlsx. While it currently lacks collaborative editing features and AI tools, which remain exclusive to the web version, developers plan to add future synchronization with Yandex Disk.

Access to editing and formatting tools requires a paid Yandex 360 personal subscription. Users must sign in with a Yandex ID to use the application, although files are stored locally on the computer's drive rather than in the cloud.
