Yandex has launched a desktop application called 'Documents' for text and spreadsheet processing. The software operates offline and is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux, with support for RPM and DEB packages. Installation files are available for free download without requiring user authorization.

While viewing and printing documents is free, editing and formatting features require a paid Yandex 360 subscription. Currently, files can only be saved locally. The application supports .docx and .xlsx formats, with plans to add .pptx compatibility in the future.

The desktop version is currently designed for individual use. Collaborative editing and AI-powered tools remain exclusive to the web version of Yandex 360. Yandex plans to integrate its 'Disk' cloud storage in future updates to enable multi-user collaboration.

The software is currently available for personal Yandex 360 plans. The company intends to extend access to corporate users of the platform in subsequent releases.
