Yandex Lavka has expanded its autonomous delivery network, deploying rover robots across 130 of its 736 darkstores in Russia. As of September 2026, these robots are completing 10,000 deliveries per day. The service is currently operational in 11 cities, including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and the Moscow region.
The company plans to scale its operations significantly by the end of 2026, adding at least 270 more darkstores to the network. This expansion will include new locations in Voronezh and Tyumen, bringing the total number of active delivery points to at least 400. By the second quarter of 2026, the total fleet of Yandex robots exceeded 1,000 units.
Beyond Yandex Lavka, the rovers are utilized by Yandex Eda, Yandex Dostavka, and various partner companies. According to a VCIOM study, residents in areas without robot delivery view the technology favorably, citing weather-independent service and reduced human contact as key benefits. Two-thirds of respondents believe robots can help mitigate courier shortages.
