Yandex and VK are currently in negotiations regarding the formation of a joint venture focused on corporate technology assets. The discussions have been ongoing for over two months, although the final structure of the potential entity remains undecided.

The proposed deal suggests an equal 50/50 split between the two companies. VK may contribute its entire VK Tech division, while Yandex is considering including Yandex Cloud, Yandex 360, and an AI-focused asset from its Yandex B2B Tech portfolio.

One of the potential legal frameworks for the venture involves the entity OOO BTB Tech. While the exact list of assets is still under review, the partnership aims to consolidate cloud services, collaboration tools, and artificial intelligence solutions.

In the first half of 2026, Yandex B2B Tech reported revenue of 28,9 ₽ billion, marking a 32% growth. During the same period, VK Tech saw its revenue rise by 35,3% to reach 9 ₽ billion, with the SME segment growing by 97,5% year-on-year.
