Yahoo Finance has officially terminated its partnership with Polymarket that involved displaying prediction market data on the Yahoo platform. A company spokesperson confirmed the end of this specific agreement, noting that while the data integration has ceased, Polymarket remains an advertising partner for Yahoo.

The collaboration began in November 2025, when Polymarket became the exclusive prediction market partner for Yahoo Finance. The initiative featured a dedicated hub providing probability data for economic, government, and market outcomes alongside news and analysis from Yahoo Finance and its partners.

Polymarket continues to pursue other media and sports partnerships. In January, the company established an exclusive deal with Dow Jones to integrate real-time prediction data into platforms like The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and MarketWatch. Additionally, a March agreement with Major League Baseball designated Polymarket as the league’s official prediction exchange.

The company also expanded its relationship with Sportradar in August, gaining access to data and streaming services covering over 20 sports leagues and approximately 300 000 matches annually. These moves align with broader industry growth, as broker Bernstein projects prediction market volumes could reach $1 trillion by 2030.

According to industry reports, prediction market volumes reached $51 billion last year. Current projections suggest these volumes are on track to reach approximately $240 billion by the end of this year, as the sector expands from niche betting into broader information markets covering politics and finance.
