YADRO, a subsidiary of ICS Holding, has unveiled the YADRO G4208P G3 server equipped with a liquid cooling system. The announcement took place at the Digital Solutions forum. This new version is designed to handle the increasing thermal loads generated by modern high-performance GPU accelerators used in AI model training and scientific computing.

During testing at 100% load, the GPU temperature remained at 60 °C with an ambient temperature of 22–23 °C, and reached 77 °C when the ambient temperature was 39 °C. The liquid cooling system targets the most heat-intensive components, including processors and GPUs, which helps maintain stable performance and extends the hardware's operational lifespan.

The server fits into standard racks and integrates with existing data center liquid cooling infrastructure, avoiding the need for major facility modifications. This launch follows YADRO's previous expansion of the G4208P G3 capabilities in September to support more powerful GPU configurations and aligns with the company's broader strategy of developing liquid cooling solutions like the BOREY Poseidon system.

Reliability is a critical factor for long-term AI computations. Data from a 54-day study on training the Llama 3 model with 405 billion parameters showed that GPU failures accounted for over 30% of all unplanned interruptions. YADRO aims to mitigate such risks by providing a stable thermal environment for high-density computing clusters.
