Xreal has opened pre-orders for the Aura smart glasses, developed in partnership with Google. The base model, featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at $1,279. A higher-end version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is available for $1,499.
The device weighs approximately 100 grams and utilizes a compute puck housing a Qualcomm Snapdragon Reality Elite chip and battery. The system runs on Android XR and features a 70-degree diagonal field of view. Navigation is handled via a touchpad on the compute puck and hand-tracking technology.
The initial launch is limited to the first 2,000 Founder’s Edition units, which are scheduled to ship this year to users who previously placed reservations. General public orders are expected to open in the coming weeks.
At launch, the Xreal Aura will be available exclusively in the United States, Canada, Japan, and South Korea. The company plans to expand availability to additional regions in 2027.
