Xreal has unveiled the pricing and release schedule for its new Aura smart glasses, which run on the Android XR platform. The device features dual displays with a 70-degree field of view, integrated touch controls, and support for hand-tracking technology.
The base model, equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, is priced at $1279. A higher-end version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage will cost $1499. The glasses are available in two sizes, catering to interpupillary distances of 60–66 mm and 66–72 mm.
The hardware is powered by a Snapdragon Reality Elite chip housed in a separate module, which affects the overall weight and size of the device. Pre-orders are currently open for those who have placed a deposit, with general availability expected in the coming weeks.
The official market launch is scheduled for mid-November in the United States, Canada, Japan, and South Korea. Consumers in other regions will have to wait until 2027 to purchase the device.
