Xpeng has officially teased the upcoming debut of the Mona L05, a new mid-size 5-seat SUV aimed at younger consumers. The vehicle will be available in both battery electric and extended-range electric powertrain configurations. The company expects the new model to play a key role in its strategy to increase monthly sales volume during the fourth quarter.

According to regulatory filings, the Mona L05 measures 4,870 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,636 mm in height, with a 2,940 mm wheelbase. The EREV version combines a 1.5-liter range extender with a 37.2-kWh battery, and both versions are equipped with a 183-kW motor.

The manufacturer aims to surpass 60,000 monthly vehicle deliveries in the fourth quarter, representing a 45% increase over the September figures. In September, Xpeng delivered 41,256 vehicles, marking its highest monthly total for the year. Total deliveries for the first nine months of the year reached 284,367 units, which is a 9.20% decrease compared to the same period in the previous year.
