Xpeng is scaling up international distribution of its flagship GX SUV, focusing on markets in the Middle East and Africa. The company has already secured over 3,000 orders for the model in the Middle East, even though official pricing for these regions has not yet been disclosed.

The GX, a six-seat full-size SUV, was originally launched in China on May 20. Domestic versions include both battery electric and extended-range electric powertrains, with launch prices ranging from ¥279 800 to ¥359 800. Xpeng has not specified which configurations are being exported.

Overseas expansion has become a critical growth driver for Xpeng. In September, the company recorded over 10,055 international sales, marking a 100.94% year-on-year increase. For the first nine months of the year, overseas sales reached 59,479 vehicles, representing 20.92% of total deliveries.

While international demand is rising, Xpeng's total deliveries for the first nine months of the year declined by 9.20% to 284,367 vehicles. CEO He Xiaopeng anticipates that new initiatives and model launches will help push quarterly overseas sales above 40,000 units by the end of the year.
