Xpeng reported its highest monthly delivery volume for 2026 in September, despite a 0.78% year-on-year decline. Compared to August, deliveries increased by 5.50%. The company delivered 118,390 vehicles in the third quarter, which represents a 2.05% increase year-on-year and a 14.61% rise over the second quarter, exceeding the previous record of 116,249 units.
The quarterly results fell within the company's guidance range of 115,000 to 121,000 vehicles. For the first nine months of the year, total deliveries reached 284,367 units, marking a 9.20% decrease compared to the same period in 2025. Xpeng is currently consolidating its four product lines into two to optimize research and development resources and reduce overall costs.
September sales were supported by the Mona L03, which saw over 10,000 deliveries, and the GX flagship SUV, which recorded 7,224 units. The company recently launched the G9L 5-seat SUV in China on September 17 with a starting price of ¥231,800. An international launch for the G9L is scheduled for October in Paris, following the start of production for right-hand-drive versions.
CEO He Xiaopeng stated in August that the company aims to exceed 60,000 monthly vehicle sales in the fourth quarter. This target is supported by the introduction of new models, including the G9L and the upcoming Mona L05 SUV, which is set for a domestic launch in the fourth quarter. The Mona L03 is already available in markets such as Hong Kong, the Philippines, Australia, and Indonesia.
