The restaurant chain Xibei has reportedly initiated a lawsuit against Luo Yonghao, with court proceedings expected to begin soon. This legal action follows a series of public disputes between the company and the entrepreneur regarding Xibei's pre-made meal products.
Internal representatives from Luo Yonghao's team previously stated that Xibei made strategic errors by launching a collaborative menu and subsequently attempting to sue the influencer. Xibei founder Jia Guolong had publicly emphasized his determination to pursue legal action, citing significant damage to the company's reputation.
Recent reports from a social media commentator suggest that Xibei faces severe financial distress, with claims that the company could face closure within two to three months. Under this scenario, Jia Guolong would reportedly assume most of the debt, relinquish his shares, and retain only about 100 profitable locations to support a workforce of 3,000 to 4,000 employees.
The situation remains unconfirmed by official sources. Both Xibei and Luo Yonghao's representatives have declined to provide clear responses to inquiries regarding the status of the lawsuit. The commentator claims to have secured evidence of the dispute on a blockchain to ensure its preservation.
