Xiaomi has launched the Smart Camera Video Call Edition 2, priced at ¥499. The device features a 3.97-inch color screen with a resolution of 480x800 pixels, designed with large buttons for easier operation by elderly users and children.
The camera supports three types of calls: gesture, one-click, and linked calls. To improve audio quality, it includes dual microphones and a large-diameter speaker with intelligent noise reduction to ensure clear sound for elderly users.
The device is equipped with a 8MP camera with a resolution of 3840x2160, allowing for 4K ultra-high-definition video recording. It also features a horizontal electronic gimbal that provides a 360-degree horizontal view and manual tilt adjustment from 0 to 30 degrees.
The camera is powered by a 1.5T high-computing power chip, which increases computing capacity by 50% compared to the same model's previous generation. This allows the device to run more complex AI algorithms for more accurate scene detection.
The product supports Xiaomi HyperConnect, allowing it to link with a massive amount of smart devices. Users can share and manage the device across smartphones, tablets, and Xiaomi TVs, and can display the camera's live feed on the screen during video calls.
