Xiaomi has unveiled the Mijia Electric Shaver S101 Cloud Pattern Blade Edition, which will be available on the Xiaomi Youpin platform. The crowdfunding campaign for the device is scheduled to begin on September 21. During this initial phase, the shaver will be offered at a price of ¥105, which is approximately $15.
The new model comes in two color options: Twilight Blue and Rock Gray. The shaver features blades produced through metal injection molding, creating a double-ring pattern designed to increase the shaving area. The device uses concave steel blades intended to capture hairs close to the skin and reduce pulling during use.
The shaver is equipped with three independently floating heads that move in six directions to follow facial contours. It includes an IPX7 waterproof rating and an intelligent speed control system designed to maintain motor power as the battery level drops.
The device charges via a USB-C port, with a full charge taking approximately 1.5 hours. According to the manufacturer, the battery provides up to 60 days of autonomy, assuming a daily usage time of one minute.
