Xiaomi has officially announced that the upcoming 18 Pro smartphone series will feature the Super Pixel Screen 2.0. The new display technology integrates M11 lighting architecture and advanced green light-emitting materials to improve brightness and power efficiency.
A key feature of the new screen is the native hardware-level privacy protection. This system, referred to as Smart Privacy Display, allows users to configure specific privacy policies for different application groups based on their usage scenarios.
The privacy function activates automatically when the device detects sensitive content. According to the company, this includes scenarios such as entering passwords, processing payments, executing financial transfers, and displaying private message notifications.
Information regarding these display capabilities was previously identified in international ROM firmware files. Leaked data from late August included visual evidence of the interface, confirming the granular control options available to users for managing their data visibility.
