Xiaomi has introduced the 18 Fold, its first book-style foldable since the Mix Fold 4. The device features a short, wide design with a 1.4:1 aspect ratio for both its 7.58-inch inner screen and 5.38-inch outer screen.

The smartphone is powered by the proprietary Xring O3 chipset, which aims for Snapdragon 8 Elite-level performance. It debuts the Arm Mali G2-Ultra NX GPU, introducing mobile-first support for DLSS-style graphics acceleration on Android.

The device is equipped with a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 67W wired and 50W wireless charging. Both OLED displays reach a peak brightness of 4,000 nits.

The camera system, developed with Leica, includes a 200-megapixel main sensor (1/1.56-inch type), a 50-megapixel 3.5x periscope telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens.

The 18 Fold is available in black, white, and red, with a limited pink ceramic special edition restricted to 1,500 units. The device is available for preorder in China starting at ¥10,999 (approximately $1,600), with official sales beginning September 10th. International launch details remain unconfirmed.
