Xiaomi has officially announced the discontinuation of its MiMo-V2.5-Pro and MiMo-V2.5 models. The company recommends that users migrate to the newer MiMo V2.6 series, which is now fully operational and offers improved inference capabilities.

The transition process includes an automatic redirection phase starting on October 14, 2026, at 18:00 UTC+8. Requests directed to the older models will be forwarded to the V2.6 versions and billed according to the new pricing structure.

Full decommissioning of the legacy models is scheduled for October 21, 2026, at 10:00 UTC+8. After this deadline, any API calls using the old model names will result in errors, requiring developers to complete their migration and testing beforehand.

The MiMo-V2.6 series, released on September 22, includes Pro and Flash versions. Pricing remains consistent with the V2.5 series: Flash costs ¥1 per million input tokens and ¥2 per million output tokens, while the Pro version is priced at ¥3 and ¥6 respectively, with a 99% cache discount.
