Xiaomi has unveiled the Mijia Instant Hot Water Dispenser Pro in China, a device capable of heating water in approximately three seconds. The product will be available for purchase starting September 28, with a retail price of $60.

The dispenser utilizes a flow-through heating system that warms water during the dispensing process rather than storing pre-heated water. The internal components, including the heater and the water circuit, are constructed from food-grade stainless steel, with the water reaching 100 degrees Celsius at atmospheric pressure.

The unit features four preset temperature modes: 25 degrees for room temperature, 45 degrees for baby formula, 75 degrees for tea, and 100 degrees for boiling water. Users can also manually adjust the temperature to specific levels for various needs.

The device includes a 2.8-liter removable reservoir, which can be connected to an external water source via a flexible hose. A front-mounted LED display activates automatically when a cup is placed on the stand, showing the current temperature and operational status.

The dispenser also includes an automated self-cleaning function for the internal water circuit, with the progress of the procedure shown on the integrated display.
