Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 7 Max in China, featuring three robotic arms designed to clean hard-to-reach areas. The device is available in two configurations: one with a standard water tank and another equipped with a direct water supply and drainage system.

The vacuum offers a suction pressure of 45 000 Pa, an increase from the 35 000 Pa found in the previous model. It utilizes a 3D radar and a slim body design to navigate under furniture and can clear obstacles up to 6 cm in height. The robot identifies over 320 types of objects and stains to adjust its cleaning mode accordingly.

The system includes a feature that heats water to 50 degrees Celsius, which activates automatically in kitchens and bathrooms. According to the manufacturer, this process achieves a 99.99 percent disinfection rate. The robot also manages simultaneous mopping and dirty water collection to maintain cleaning cloth hygiene.

The new model is priced at ¥4999 and ¥5299, approximately $747 and $792. This launch price is lower than the predecessor, the Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 6 Max, which debuted at a price range of ¥6599 to ¥6999.
