Xiaomi has launched pre-sales for the Mijia Air Purifier 6C in China. The device is designed for rooms up to 68 square meters and offers a clean air delivery rate of 603 cubic meters per hour. Its compact base occupies approximately 0.063 square meters, comparable to an A4 sheet of paper.

The purifier features a six-stage filtration system, including pre-filtration, antibacterial and high-density filters, a nanoparticle filter, an activated carbon layer for odors and formaldehyde, and UV sterilization. The unit achieves a formaldehyde removal rate of 99 percent within two hours, with a formaldehyde CADR of 381 cubic meters per hour.

Equipped with a dedicated formaldehyde sensor and a circular LCD screen, the device displays real-time concentration data, PM2.5 levels, temperature, and humidity. It removes up to 99.99 percent of PM2.5 particles and over 99 percent of common allergens. The filter lifespan is rated for 6 to 12 months.

The device operates at a noise level of 30.4 decibels in sleep mode. The retail price for the purifier is ¥999, while replacement filters are priced at ¥199. Xiaomi estimates the average daily operating cost of the unit to be approximately ¥0.55.
