Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Washing Machine Healthy Wash Dual Tub 1KG, a compact appliance featuring two independent drums. Each drum has a capacity of 0.5 kg and utilizes separate water supply and drainage systems. This design allows users to wash different types of laundry, such as delicate items or baby clothes, simultaneously.
The machine measures 530 by 371 by 410 millimeters and weighs 16 kilograms, occupying less than 0.2 square meters of space. Its compact form factor enables placement on countertops or atop standard front-loading washing machines. The device is equipped with non-slip feet and a double-layered heat-resistant lid.
The unit supports 23 washing programs, including a 15-minute cycle for delicate fabrics. It can heat water up to 95 degrees Celsius, which the manufacturer claims eliminates up to 99.99 percent of bacteria and viruses, as well as 100 percent of dust mites. Users can control temperature and water levels via the Xiaomi Mijia app.
The washing machine has a rated power consumption of 1300 watts. It is currently available for purchase on the Chinese platform JD.com. The retail price for the device is set at ¥1299, which is approximately $180.
