Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Washing Machine Pro Super Electrolysis Fresh Air series in China. These machines feature a capacity of up to 12 kg of laundry. They include an electrolysis washing system, drum ventilation, and a dedicated mode for pet owners.
The Super Electrolysis Washing technology is designed to remove stubborn stains, maintain fabric whiteness, and reduce dye transfer. A steam mode for hygienic treatment is also available, with a claimed antibacterial own effectiveness of 99.999%.
To prevent odors and microorganism growth, the Fresh Air system continuously ventilates the drum, renewing the air up to 14 times per hour. A special pet hair removal mode uses an enhanced water flow to remove up to 93% of pet hair from textiles.
The base model offers 32 washing programs, including settings for wool, silk, and soft toys. The washer-dryer combination model supports 12 kg for washing and 9 kg for drying, featuring 35 programs and intelligent low-temperature drying.
The standard version is priced at ¥4,400 ($655), or ¥3,484 ($520) with a government subsidy. The washer-dryer model costs ¥5,000 ($745), or ¥3,995 ($595) with the subsidy. Sales have started in China, with no international release date announced.
