Xiaomi has launched a crowdfunding campaign for the new Mijia smart back massager on the Xiaomi Youpin platform. The campaign runs until October 19, with a price set at ¥509.

The device features a 450mm flexible dual-track system with an R550mm curvature designed to follow the spine. It includes four massage heads that simulate finger pressure and cover the area from the shoulder blades to the lower back.

Users can choose from seven preset massage modes or create three custom programs via the Mijia app. The massager also includes physical side buttons for manual control without a smartphone.

The unit is equipped with a graphene heating element covering 10 000mm² and can be used for heat therapy independently or during a massage. It weighs 2.2kg and has a thickness of less than 75mm.

The massager is powered by a 3150mAh lithium battery and charges via a Type-C port. When not in use, the massage heads retract to allow the device to function as a lumbar support cushion.
