Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Mineral Water Purifier 2 in China, priced at ¥2 199, with an introductory offer of ¥2 049. The device features a nine-stage filtration system with a precision of 0,0001 microns and a reverse osmosis membrane that achieves a 98,5% desalination rate.
The purifier is designed to remove over 99,99% of viruses, 99,9% of E. coli bacteria, 99% of heavy metals, and 99,8% of microplastics. Following the filtration process, the water is enriched with six minerals, including strontium, zinc, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and bicarbonate ions, using a slow-release technology.
The system offers a flow rate of 1 200 gallons per minute, with an initial output of 3,38 liters per minute. Users can fill a cup in approximately 3 seconds, a 150 ml bottle in 2,7 seconds, and a 2-liter pot in 35,5 seconds.
The reverse osmosis cartridge is rated for up to 8 years of operation. This longevity is achieved through a contamination-resistant membrane and a self-cleaning system that utilizes water recirculation.
